a little more about me...

I am married to my best friend, Michael. We began our love story at 19 and have continued to grow in love and life together ever since. We have a beautiful, now senior, dog Chowder. He has been with us for 15 amazing years as an important part of our little family. We are HUGE dog lovers and treasure every day we have with him. 

Besides photography, I also spend my time in the classroom teaching Language Arts and History-Social Sciences to middle schoolers. Although this age range can sometimes present its challenges, I have found teaching these students to be extremely fulfilling. While photography allows me to capture beautiful moments in time between loved ones, teaching allows me to foster growth within my students that can propel them toward a beautiful future.
